Skaters from all over Australia gathered To Pizzy skate park in Miami on The Gold Coast to battle it out for the QLD Title. Now a couple of years has past since the last QLD titles so this one had to step up the game for the QLD scene.
For all you who made it to the comp you would not argue that it was Hectic rollerblading at its best.
After battling the rain through out the day it was time for the rollers to battle it on the park. The new additions provided some of the biggest hammers and techiest combs making it a truly level playing field. Which included a pyramid box, Pyramid rail, flat bar and “George” the VC van.
So the results for the day

2nd- Danny Jensen
3rd – was a tie between Brock Midgley and Hayden Golder
Best trick was a split decision between Kiran Deans for his misty flip into the 10ft bowl to flat and Hayden Golder for soul on the ledge to 360 into the mini bowl.
Special mention to Paulie Haack with his 900 into the same 10ft bowl after the comp and to danny Jensen for nearly stomping the gap from the high rail into the mini bowl. Shit was crazy!!

Andrew Brown for helping out so much and keeping everything in check, Sk on the mic schooling the non rollers on tricks, Mitch Macrae for towing George to the park, Caitlin for being the best sausage hustler in QLD even over taking Lukes position and wax girl, Jess for rocking the rego and merch, James, Nat, Browny for judging the day, the red bull girls for giving us some wings And thanks to the urban ninjas that gave George a new face lift and fresh new paint job , Brock for putting in $200 of his own cash towards prize money much love man! Levi and Dave for making the pyramid box and bringin it to the comp was mad fun!Big Lip dowg for the after party, last but not least all the skaters that travelled up to the comp and made it a amazing day! Proving rollerblading is back from the dead!!BOOM.
